Entrance Gate Restoration
The entrance gate was hit by a skip lorry.
It is of riveted construction and had to be completely taken apart. All the bars needed to be straightened, and new spigots had to be formed to enable us to re-rivet the gate after it had been reassembled.
The repaired gate was then cleaned, red oxide primed and painted gloss black.
Once the gate post had been repaired by a local bricklayer, the gate was rehung.
